Katana™ Avencia™ Blocks are a new type of hybrid ceramic for the fabrication of inlays, onlays, veneers and full contour crown restorations. Nano-sized fillers are compressed into a block that is then infused with a resin monomer. The resin is then polymerized through heat.
KATANA™ AVENCIA™ Block is produced using our unique manufacturing method.
The nano-sized fillers are densely compressed into a block, which is then uniformly infused with resin monomer.
The resin is then polymerized by heating it. Our new type of hybrid ceramic has great mechanical strength to withstand occlusal pressure, as well as excellent gloss retention.
